Type the task in plain English; these bits are read and taken out of the title (words in “quotes” are left alone):
- Date
- today, tomorrow, day after tomorrow, monday…sunday (the coming one), this friday, next friday (the Friday of next week; weeks run Monday to Sunday), next week, next month, next year, in 3 days, in a week, in 2 months, 2026-10-30, 10/30, 10/30/2026 (month/day), oct 30, 30 oct, october 30th, 2026, the 15th; may follow on, by, due or for: “by friday”.
- Time
- 3pm, 3:30pm, 15:00, at 3, at 15:30, noon, midnight. A time alone means today.
- Priority
- !high or !! · !low or !l · !none
- List
- #Work (an existing list by name; a start of a name when only one matches, else the word stays in the title)
- Repeat
- every day, daily, every week, weekly, every 2 weeks, every other week, every month, monthly, every year, yearly, every monday (weekly, due on the coming Monday). The next occurrence is made when you tick the task done; a monthly or yearly repeat holds on to its day of the month (the 31st falls back to the 30th and comes back).
